Activity?

What's that Lassy? Did Timmy fall down the well, again?! That boy needs mental... no, he didn't? Well then, what is it? SPORC's alive? No, no that can't be. Everyone knows SPORC's dea... What? You'll prove it?

And so we will. SPORC is not dead, and once again there are stirrings of activity and plannings for ambitious creations and events underway. With new inspiration from such anime and manga as Genshiken, Welcome to the NHK, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and others, we have a new drive and a new passion. Doujinshi, you ask? Yes we can. Eroge? Why not. Fanzine? Bring it on. Not only can we do it, we will do it. And then some.

We also are brainstorming ideas for more local events and showings and the like. Our zeal diminishes when we are separated, so we must come together more often to fuel the fires of our obsessions! We are otaku! We are here! We are proud! We must stand together in these times of ailing companies and a fandom that is falling apart from casual observers and non-taku partiers! Divided we fall, but together we stand tall!

Keep an eye out on the forums and be involved! Be a part of the revolution! Row, row, fight the power!

There is also a poll attached. Click the comments button to get to it. There is another poll you should vote in the announcements forum, it will decide when we have our next live meeting.

Yes, yes, I've been lazy about getting this back up. Many apologies.

Anyway, we're back. Not everything is up and running yet, but it should be before too long. Your accounts and posts should still be here, so if you would, go ahead and try logging in. If you're having problems, email me at webmaster (at) sporc (dot) alex10819 (dot) net.

EDIT: Yeah...I kinda messed up the email a bit. Sorry about that.
